Fiat Siena Tetrafuel.jpg

Fiat Siena. 1996 to date (prod. unknown). 4-door sedan. F/F, 994, 999, 1242, 1297, 1368, 1497, 1796 cm³ petrol, 1698 cm³ diesel (4 cyl. OHC), 999, 1242, 1248, 1596 cm³ (4 cyl. DOHC). I.DE.A.-designed three-box sedan version of Fiat Palio (178), kept up to date stylistically with a series of facelifts (2001, 2004, 2008). Same wheelbase as Palio, and shorter than Albea. Built to a price for the original models, with FIASA and FIRE engines in Brazil. Not that strong a seller compared to Palio. New engines with first facelift by Giugiaro in 2001, making the car look boxier and more upmarket. Further changes 2004 with smoother grille, akin to Palio, and similar to 2006 Albea facelift. Facelift in 2008 gave Siena a look apeing Fiat Grande Punto at the front, and a larger boot at the rear, though Progetto 178 roots still remain evident in centre section.
