Fiat Marea. 1996–2007 (prod. 1,000,000 approx.). 4-door saloon, 5-door estate. F/F, 1242, 1581, 1595, 1747 cm³ (I4 DOHC), 1370 cm³ petrol, 1910, 1929 cm³ diesel (I4 OHC), 1995, 2446 cm³ (I5 DOHC), 2387 cm³ diesel (I5 OHC). Booted saloon and estate versions of Bravo and Brava hatchbacks, with much the same under the skin, which meant good handling and refinement. European production to 2002; continued in Brazil thereafter (where 2·4 petrol was offered, inter alia).
