2006 Fiat Croma.jpg

Fiat Croma (Tipo 194). 2005–11 (prod. n/a). 5-door estate. F/F, 1910 cm³ diesel (I4 OHC), 1796, 2198 cm³ petrol, 1910 cm³ diesel (I4 DOHC), 2387 cm³ (I5 DOHC). Marketed originally as a crossover (mixing estates and MPVs), but really a large estate car on the GM Epsilon (Opel Vectra C) platform. Giugiaro styling, but less distinguished than much of his work. Safe and roomy, but hardly a new market segment. Facelift in 2007 along with Fiat’s admission that Croma was in fact a Station Wagon, marketing it as such.

Manufacturing location: Cassino, Frosinone, Italy

Marque: Fiat | Model: Fiat Croma | Predecessor: Fiat Croma (1985–96) | Successor: Fiat Freemont
