Fiat Brava (Progetto 182). 1995–2002 (prod. 1,235,496, incl. Bravo). 5-door saloon. F/F, 1242, 1581, 1596, 1747 cm³ (I4 DOHC), 1372 cm³ petrol, 1910, 1929 cm³ diesel (I4 OHC). More refined replacement for successful Tipo, on the same platform, complemented by a three-door model called Bravo. Mid-term changes in 1999. Very solid, with stiff body, and an able handler. Considered one of Fiat’s best entries in the class and won the European Car of the Year award in its launch year.
