Two-door saloon at first; hatchback in 1972. Facelift in 1977, with plastic bumpers and more modern appearance for the time; second facelift in 1981. SEAT built [[SEAT 127|127]] under licence and included four- and five-door models (some sold as Fiats), and the [[SEAT Fura|Fura]] found its roots in the 127; Brazilian [[Fiat 147]] (along with its successors, the [[Fiat Brío|Brío]], [[Fiat Spazio|Spazio]] and [[Fiat Vivace|Vivace]]) was based on 127. Other models that the 127 spawned included the [[Fiat Panorama]] in Brazil (sold in Europe as 127 Panorama) and the Fiorino van.
