Fiat 125. 1967–81 (prod. 603,877 in Italy only). 4-door saloon, 5-door estate. F/R, 1608 cm³ (I4 DOHC). Fiat 124 (1966–75) centre section with different front and rear ends, adapted to the 1300 and 1500 platform. Rear-wheel drive as a result, with proportions apeing the earlier car. Twin cam from Fiat 124 Sport Coupé, and the 125 was good for 160 km/h. Basic engine had 90 PS, but 110 and 125 PS ones were also available. Italian production to 1972, when Argentinian production began, with Potenciado 110 PS from 1976. Familiar estate available in Argentina, with a rear end more slanted than that of Polski-Fiat 125p, from 1972 to 1978. Facelift in 1980 to 125 Mirafiori, updating the car with blacked-out details; cancelled the following year by Sevel.
