Essentially the Fiat 124 adapted to the 1300 and 1500 platform, with a twin-cam engine from the 124 Sport Coupé. Saloons only in Europe, though Argentina had a coupé based off a Vignale design, and an estate. Argentina also had a Fiat 1600 with the same body but older OHV engines. The 125 spawned the Polski-Fiat 125p (with a slightly different estate) and Zastava 125 PZ, made under licence; the former became the FSO 125p and survived till 1991. The platform was also under the FSO Polonez, which survived in various forms into 2002.
