Styling by Pininfarina. More refined than its predecessor, now considered a capable grand tourer though it appealed to posers. Very wide, at 1,976 mm. Vied for fastest production car in the world credit. Power at 390 PS; 380 PS after catalytic converter installed. Associated with Miami Vice TV show in the mid-1980s. Replaced by evolution model, the 512 TR.
