Ferrari 365 GT4 Berlinetta Boxer.jpg

Ferrari 365 GT/4 BB. 1973–6 (prod. 387 incl. 88 RHD). 2-door coupé. M/R, 4390 cm³ (V12 DOHC). In response to the growing popularity of mid-engined sport models, Ferrari created its first passenger car with a V12 in the back, succeeding the already famed, front-engined Daytona. Wide boxer engine would have been difficult to install up front, forcing Ferrari's hand. Shown in Paris in 1971 but not on sale till 1973, the BB was the fastest production car in the world when launched. Luxuriously trimmed interior.

Manufacturing location: Modena, Maranello, Italy

Marque: Ferrari | Predecessor: Ferrari 365 GTB/4 | Successor: Ferrari 512 BB
