Ferrari 308 GTS/Ferrari 308 GTSi/Ferrari 308 GTS QV. 1977–85 (prod. 3,219 for GTS, 1,749 for GTSi, 3,042 for QV). M/R, 2926 cm³ (V8 DOHC). Version of 308 GTB with removable top, evolved from earlier Dino 246. Second side window louvred. Usual Ferrari virtues of strong performance, with four fewer cylinders than normal. Fairly light, hence 205–40 bhp more than adequate. Fuel injection in 1980. Quattrovalvole from 1982. Considered one of the most beautiful cars of the decade by Autocar and made famous on TV series Magnum, PI.

Manufacturing location: Maranello, Modena, Italy

Marque: Ferrari | Predecessor: Ferrari Dino 246 GTS | Successor: Ferrari 328 GTS
