Latest revision as of 13:19, 25 June 2022Ferrari 308 GTB/Ferrari 308 GTBi/Ferrari 308 GTB QV. 1975–85 (prod. 2,987 GTB, 494 GTBi, 748 QV). M/R, 2926 cm³ (V8 DOHC). Shown at Paris 1975, an evolution of the earlier Dino 246 GTB, but with a V8 and officially a Ferrari. Pininfarina styling, under Leonardo Fioravanti. Early 308 GTBs made in GRP, before switching to steel bodies in 1977, gaining 150 kg in weight. Dry sump lubrication for European models, till 1981. Fuel injection in 1980 (GTBi), with lower emissions but with power drop; QV (quattrovalvole, four valves per cylinder) introduced in 1982, increasing power over the original GTB. Considered comfortable in its day, and easy to drive.
