1992 Mazda MX-3 Precidia GS.jpg

Eunos Presso/Autozam AZ-3/Mazda AZ-3. 1992–8 (prod. n/a). 3-door coupé. F/F, 1498, 1598 cm³ (I4 OHC), 1597 cm³ (I4 DOHC), 1845 cm³ (V6 OHC). Small coupé inspired by 1950s Alfa Romeos, part of Mazda’s over-ambitious expansion of the early 1990s that saw it get into financial disgrace. Attractive and known for its compact and smooth V6; smallest 1·5 for Autozam version only. High-revving and good to drive but not the most refined, with wind noise. Exported as Mazda MX-3, Eunos 30X and Mazda MX-3 Precidia to various markets.

Manufacturing location: Hiroshima, Japan

Marque: Eunos
