Geely’s Englon unit cuts another model niche with a car slotting between the B-segment SC3 and the C-segment SC7. Really a rebadged Geely King Kong 2 after Geely decided to use a multi-brand approach, and positioned above the basic Englon King Kong that had entered the range the year before. Shared engine with SC5-RV. Exterior dull by Chinese standards, considering the shape had really been around since 2006. Five-door dubbed RV, with off-road pretensions. Considered durable, given its Geely base, which Chinese customers were already familiar with, and related to the Englon Jinying (Golden Eagle).
