Eagle Talon. 1995–8 (prod. 54,262). 3-door coupé. F/F, F/A, 1996, 1997 cm³ (I4 DOHC). All-new Talon, twinned with Mitsubishi Eclipse (1995–9). Despite the new shape, sales continued to dip other than a first-year rise of just over 1,000. Unlike the Mitsubishi, no convertible. Improved turbocharger, AWD option, and better suspension, with double wishbones at front and multi-link at rear. Dual front airbags. Base models were unrefined with poor performance; the cars were no lightweights. Mid-term changes for 1997. Last Eagle car as Chrysler retired the marque.

Manufacturing location: Normal, Illinois, USA

Marque: Eagle | Model: Eagle Talon | Predecessor: Eagle Talon (1990–4)
