Eagle
From AutocadeShort-lived marque that succeeded AMC after Chrysler bought the company in 1987. Eagle was formed as a marque in 1988, adorning two Renault-developed models that it had inherited from AMC, and some added from Mitsubishi. While there were excellent cars, such as the Eagle Vision, the brand suffered from inattention. As part of the Jeep–Eagle division, more emphasis was placed on Jeep, and Eagle was left to suffer. With only two models of any note by the mid-1990s—the Talon and the Vision—the decision was made to retire the marque. Eagle was history in 1998.
