The model name was revived from an earlier effort based on the [[Nissan Bluebird Sylphy]]. While all Fengshen (or Fengsheng) models were made by Dongfeng Aeolus, the S30 and H30 were the only two formally reported at the time with their full names; later ones were simply titled Dongfeng Fengshen.
