From AutocadeDodge Polara. 1968–79 (prod. n/a). 4-door sedan, 2-door coupé. F/R, 3333 cm³ diesel (I4 OHV), 3050, 3687 cm³ (I6 OHV). Argentinian version of Dodge Dart (1967–9), but with different sheetmetal. Sedan design shared with Spanish Dodge 3700. Perkins-powered diesel short-lived, from 1976 to 1979. Coupé (1972–8) offered in standard version and as Polara RT, the latter with twin Holley carburettors, and producing 174 hp, up 29 hp; it also had stripes denoting the more powerful engine, and front disc brakes instead of drums. Production ceased after Chrysler sold its Argentinian operations to Volkswagen.
