2001 Dodge Neon.jpg

Dodge Neon. 2000–5 (prod. n/a). 4-door sedan. F/F, 1598, 1998 cm³ (I4 OHC). More grown-up looks for second-generation Neon. Larger engine had good power, but not low-down, and was noisy, and automatic only had three speeds initially (later upgraded to four). Good headroom, while legroom was average. Safe and stable, with good handling; ride tended to be poor by European standards. Export models well equipped. Sold as Chrysler Neon in some export markets, and twinned with Plymouth Neon (2000–1).

Manufacturing locations: Belvidere, Illinois, USA; Toluca, México

Marque: Dodge | Model: Dodge Neon | Predecessor: Dodge Neon (1995–9) | Successor: Dodge Caliber
