Dodge Neon. 2000–5 (prod. n/a). 4-door sedan. F/F, 1598, 1998 cm³ (I4 OHC), 1998 cm³ (I4 DOHC). More grown-up looks for second-generation Neon. Larger engine had good power, but not low-down, and was noisy, and automatic only had three speeds initially (later upgraded to four). Good headroom, while legroom was average. Safe and stable, with good handling and ride. Export models well equipped. Sold as Chrysler Neon in some export markets, and twinned with Plymouth Neon (2000–1).
