Dodge Neon. 1995–9 (prod. 631,417 sold in US only as Dodge). 4-door sedan, 2-door coupé. F/F, 1796, 1996 cm³ (4 cyl. OHC), 1996 cm³ (4 cyl. DOHC). Basic small car from Chrysler, sold with Chrysler badge outside North America. More powerful than competitors with 2·0-litre four, but not as well equipped; even export models fared poorly against Japanese rivals. Sold on good design; US had R/T spec from 1998 with DOHC four. Export models included 1·8. Identical to Plymouth models, but no R/T in that range.

Manufacturing locations: Belvidere, Illinois, USA; Toluca, México

Marque: Dodge | Model: Dodge Neon | Predecessor: Dodge Shadow | Successor: Dodge Neon (2000–5)
