Dodge Magnum XE. 1978–9 (prod. 73,194). 2-door coupé. F/R, 318, 360, 400 in³ (V8 OHV). Another variation on the Chrysler Cordoba (1975–9). Originally a running-mate to the Charger SE in 1978, with sleeker looks and raised sections on the sides. Unreliable as with most Chrysler products of the era, with poor rear accommodation. Lean-burn technology, which was supposedly for economy, made the engines run more poorly.
