Top-of-the-line Daimler gets the Ford-made AJ-V8, as with Jaguar equivalent, replacing six- and twelve-cylinder models. Super V8 denoted the supercharged variant. Exported as Jaguar Vanden Plas to North America. Some external tweaks compared with X300 and X305; interior more substantially made over.
