Daimler Double Six. 1973–9 (prod. 4,292 saloon, 397 coupé). 4-door saloon, 2-door coupé. F/R, 5343 cm³ (V12 OHC). Raised bumpers to comply with US safety legislation, improving the looks, but quality dropped to series low under British Leyland with virtually no rust treatment. LWB saloon only. Vanden Plas denoted higher specification, with 1,711 made of all saloons. Coupés very rare, 371 RHD and 26 LHD made.
