Large (over 5·5 m long) Daimler range, and the basis of the Hooper-bodied Docker Daimler specials at Earls’ Court. Chassis developed by C. M. Simpson; clothed by various coachbuilders. Beloved by royal families and heads of state (the UK, Afghanistan, Ethiopia, Saudi Arabia, Thailand, the Netherlands and Monaco). Related to DE27, but with Britain’s last straight-eights.
