Daihatsu Mira/Daihatsu Cuore (L500S/L500V/L502/L510S/L510V). 1994–8, 2000–12 (prod. n/a). 3- and 5-door sedan. F/F, F/A, 659, 847 cm³ (I3 OHC), 659, 847 cm³ (I3 DOHC), 659 cm³ (I4 DOHC). Mira gains a more rounded appearance, and range included the potent TR-XX four-cylinder sport model, including the rally TR-XX Avanzato. ABS available for the first time, and some featured airbags. Moderno, with different grille, from 1995, and with the 1997 facelift, the regular Mira range, excepting the sporting models and the commercial van, followed the Moderno look. Retro-themed Mira Classic from 1997. Hello Kitty-themed Kitty Version in association with Sanrio from 1998. Exported with a number of nameplates, including Cuore and Charade. After production finished in Japan, the L500 headed to Pakistan as the locally made Cuore with 0·8 engines, from 2000 to 2012.
