Compact and keenly priced small car from Daihatsu, twinned with Toyota Passo and the basis of the Perodua Myvi in Malaysia. Not the most refined and built to a price. Introduced 2004, with Japanese sales ending in 2010 on introduction of a second-generation model. The original model continued for export. A seven-seat model, the Boon Luminas (and Toyota Passo Sette) was introduced in 2008.
