Daewoo Lacetti Premiere/Chevrolet Cruze (J300). 2008 to date (prod. unknown). 4-door sedan. F/F, 1598, 1796 cm³ (4 cyl. DOHC), 1991 cm³ diesel (4 cyl. OHC). Replacement for underwhelming J241 Lacetti is more stylish and on GM’s new Delta platform, shared with the Opel Astra I. Shown at Paris salon in 2008 as Chevrolet Cruze, but essentially a Daewoo product, launching in Korea first. One engine option initially, with 1·8 petrol and 2·0 diesel to follow. Set for US production as 2011 Chevrolet Cruze, the second time that nameplate has been used. Sold in Australia and New Zealand as Holden Cruze.
