2011 Citroën DS3 by Orla Kiely.jpg

Citroën DS3/DS 3. 2009 to date (prod. 400,000 to early December 2016). 3-door saloon, 2-door cabriolet. F/F, 1397, 1598 cm³ petrol, 1560 cm³ diesel (I4 DOHC). Citroën revived the DS initials, saying it would launch a range of cars to recapture the spirit of the Déesse. In reality, it was a marketing move, with the first entry, the DS3, the coupé version of the revised C3. Designed to be a “non-retro” alternative to the Mini (R55, R56, R57) and the Fiat 500 (2007–), but more mature. More spacious, comfortable ride, and actually quite capable in the handling stakes. Cabriolet with roll-back canvas top from 2013. Refresh in 2014; officially DS 3 (with DS as marque) from 2014 in China, later worldwide.

Manufacturing location: Poissy, Île-de-France, France

Marque: Citroën | Model: DS 3 | Predecessors: Citroën C2 (2003–9), Citroën C3 (2002–11)
