2020 Citroën C4.jpg

Citroën C4. 2020 to date (prod. n/a). 5-door saloon. F/F, 1199 cm³ (I3 DOHC), 1499 cm³ diesel (I4 DOHC), 46 kWh electric. Third-generation (in the modern era) C4 goes on CMP platform, as opposed to the EMP2 underpinning the Peugeot 308 (T91). Sister car to the Dongfeng Aeolus Yixuan, also on CMP, normally a B-segment platform but stretched into the C-segment. Far more interesting styling than predecessor. Electric model for the first time, dubbed the e-C4, which CMP allowed. Range for electric model at 350 km (WLTP). Emphasis on comfort with hydraulic dampers, giving a softer ride. Vague steering, with body roll and understeer. Interior quality materials not the best, but reasonably finished. Well equipped, even with the base model.

Manufacturing location: Villaverde, Madrid, Spain

Marque: Citroën | Model: Citroën C4 | Predecessors: Citroën C4 (2010–), Citroën C4 Cactus
