Citroën C-Élysée. 2012 to date (prod. n/a). 4-door saloon. F/F, 1119 cm³ (3 cyl. DOHC), 1560 cm³ diesel, 1587 cm³ petrol (4 cyl. DOHC). Simple three-box saloon based around Peugeot 301 (2012–), with the same centre section, for Spain, Turkey, Algeria and central Europe, and tailored for those countries’ driving conditions. New 1·1 VTI 72 and 1·6 VTI 115 engines available alongside HDI 92 (shared with Peugeot 208) at launch. Large boot, at 506 l. Top models featured air conditioning, parking sensors and Bluetooth connectivity, though audio equipment left much to be desired. Geared more for comfort and motorway cruising, and economical. Drum brakes at rear. Chinese production from second half of 2013.
