Chrysler Valiant (VG). 1970–1 (prod. 46,374 for all VG). 4-door sedan, 5-door wagon, 2-door coupé. F/R, 225, 245 in³ (I6 OHV), 318 in³ (V8 OHV). Rectangular front lights, but otherwise, few external changes for Australian Valiant. Australian-developed 245 in³ Hemi engine under the bonnet, though 225 remained for export. More torque, though mated to a less smooth Borg–Warner gearbox for local content requirements, as opposed to the US-made TorqueFlite.
