Rectangular front lights, but otherwise, few external changes for Australian Valiant. Australian-developed 245 in³ Hemi engine under the bonnet, though 225 remained for export. More torque, though mated to a less smooth Borg–Warner gearbox for local content requirements, as opposed to the US-made TorqueFlite.
