2006 Chrysler Sebring.jpg

Chrysler Sebring (ST-22/JR). 2001–6 (prod. n/a). 4-door sedan, 2-door coupé, 2-door convertible. F/F, 1996, 2429 cm³ (I4 DOHC), 2351 cm³ (I4 OHC), 2736 cm³ (V6 DOHC), 2972 cm³ (V6 OHC). Sebring now has a sedan to replace the Cirrus, alongside a new coupé and convertible. As before, the coupé and convertible were on different platforms: the former on a Mitsubishi Eclipse (2000–5) platform, the latter on a Chrysler one, shared with the sedan. Good performance and competitive at first, but the Sebring slipped against the competition, with harsh ride and below-average interior materials. Coupé deleted once the 2005 model year was up; others continued to 2006.
