1990 Chrysler LeBaron Turbo GTC.jpg

Chrysler LeBaron (J-body). 1987–95 (prod. n/a). 2-door coupé, 2-door convertible. F/F, 2213, 2507, 2555 cm³ (I4 OHC), 2972 cm³ (V6 OHC). Chrysler replaced its K-car LeBaron two-door models with a smoother, sportier variant on a related platform. Hidden headlamps for most of the run, till the 1993 facelift. Driver’s airbag from 1989. Coupés to 1993; convertible only for 1994 and 1995. Decent power from turbo units (available in both four-cylinder capacities) and Mitsubishi V6, anti-lock brakes standard; but automatic transmission models sluggish, and not the most refined.

Marque: Chrysler | Model: Chrysler LeBaron | Predecessor: Chrysler LeBaron (1982–8) | Successor: Chrysler Sebring (1995–2000)
