Last of the Australian Valiant ‘fast body’ design in South Africa, analogous to the Chrysler Valiant (CL) series. Valiant range (Rebel, Regal, VIP) essentially rationalized to the single L model, while SE continued. Sales continued to dip, and no changes were made to the ’78s in successive model years.
