Chrysler Fifth Avenue (M-body). 1984–9 (prod. 435,104). 4-door sedan. F/R, 5210 cm³ (V8 OHV). Another model year, another name change. For 1984, the New Yorker tag was dropped for Chrysler’s flagship, with production peaking for 1985 and 1986 as big cars became fashionable again in the US. Minor changes for the rest of the run, with vinyl roof extending lower from 1988. The run ended with the 1989 model year, and with it, the long-serving AspenVolaré platform.

Manufacturing location: USA

Marque: Chrysler | Predecessor: Chrysler New Yorker Fifth Avenue (1983) | Successor: Chrysler New Yorker Fifth Avenue (1990–3)
