Chrysler Charger 770 (CL). 1976–8 (prod. 32,672 all CL). 2-door coupé. F/R, 4015, 4343 cm³ (6 cyl. OHV), 5211 cm³ (V8 OHV). Last Aussie Charger, with new grille and demise of Valiant name for this series. Single trim, 770, only, this time, with three engine options, and three-speed manual as standard. Four-speed optional, while V8 only came with an automatic gearbox. Mostly cosmetic changes though V8 ran on standard fuel.
