Chrysler 200. 2015–17 (prod. n/a). 4-door sedan. F/F, F/A, 2360 cm³ (I4 OHC), 3605 cm³ (V6 DOHC). Chrysler’s mid-size sedan made good under Fiat, on an Alfa Romeo Giulietta (940) platform. Slippery exterior (Cd 0,27) took inspiration from Virgil Exner’s Ghia show cars and the Chrysler fuselage cars, according to stylist Brandon Faurote; Klaus Busse’s interior well thought out with rotary automatic shifter and excellent detailing, though head- and legroom limited versus competitors. Segment-first nine-speed automatic for four, with Multi Air II tech from Fiat. Neutral handling, and refinement on a par with the segment. Despite its competence, sales were slow, and Chrysler killed the 200 during the 2017 model year, with production ceasing December 2016.
