Flagship of the South African range, replacing Holden Statesman (HJ)-based Chevrolet Caprice Classic. Appointed similarly to the German version, though the 4·1-litre engine produced less power than the Opel 3·0 six. Replaced in 1983 by a South African-made Opel Senator with the Opel unit.
