Chevrolet Rekord. 1978–83 (prod. n/a). 4-door sedan, 5-door wagon. F/R, 1979 cm³ (I4 CIH), 2319 cm³ (I4 OHV), 2784 cm³ (I6 OHC). South African variant of GM’s V-car, initially with a four-cylinder unit derived from the Chevrolet 230 six, joined by the Opel CIH unit in 1981, and the straight-six in 1982. Rebadged Opel the following year.
