2001 Chevrolet Prizm.jpg

Chevrolet Prizm. 1998–2002 (prod. n/a). 4-door sedan. F/F, 1794 cm³ (I4 DOHC). Based on the US-market Toyota Corolla (E110) this time, as opposed to adopting the equivalent Sprinter body. With virtually nothing distinctive about it, customers lost interest: they either went to Toyota or bought something else from Chevrolet, the Geo brand having been abandoned at the end of the 1997 model year. The relatively high price didn’t help. Larger engine this time, and reliable, but devoid of any personality.

Manufacturing location: Fremont, California, USA

Marque: Chevrolet | Predecessor: Toyota Sprinter (E100) | Successor: Pontiac Vibe (2003–8)
