Chevrolet Opala (676). 1969–92 (prod. 1,274,362). 4-door sedan, 2-door coupé, 3-door wagon. F/R, 2474, 2508 cm³ (I4 OHV), 3764, 4098 cm³ (I6 OHV). Opel Rekord C lookalike launched at 1968 São Paulo Auto Show with American engines, including Chevrolet 153 and 230 in³ and Pontiac Iron Duke four. First Chevrolet passenger car built in Brazil. Caravan denoted station wagon; SS, Diplomata and Comodoro among the variants.
