A smartly designed subcompact on the old [[Opel Corsa]] C platform, eventually replacing the Chevrolet Celta. A Chinese model on the GM GEM platform appeared in 2019, and complemented the original Onix in Brazil as the Onix Plus.

Neatly designed small hatchback, replacing the more expensive versions of the Celta, unveiled at the São Paulo motor show, and challenging [[Volkswagen Gol G5]] and [[Hyundai i20 (PB)]]. Gamma II platform, related to [[Opel Corsa C]], itself a development of [[Opel Corsa B|Corsa B]], shared with [[Chevrolet Cobalt (2012–)]] and the [[Chevrolet Spin|Spin]] MPV, and familiar flex-fuel OHC engines already seen in Celta, [[Chevrolet Agile|Agile]] and Cobalt. Positioned below Agile. Customization with decals, as with [[Mini (R55, R56, R57)|Mini]] and [[Fiat 500 (2007–)]], and Bluetooth capability via Chevrolet’s MyLink system, complete with seven-inch screen.
