1974 Chevrolet Monte Carlo S.jpg

Chevrolet Monte Carlo (A-body). 1973–7 (prod. n/a). 2-door coupé. F/R, 305, 350, 400, 454 in³ (V8 OHV). Much the same formula as before, but with GM’s Colonnade styling, winning the Motor Trend Car of the Year accolade in its first year. Poor gas mileage and another case of style over substance, but very popular in North America.

Manufacturing locations: Flint, Michigan, USA; Van Nuys, California, USA

Marque: Chevrolet | Model: Chevrolet Monte Carlo | Predecessor: Chevrolet Monte Carlo (1970–2) | Successor: Chevrolet Monte Carlo (1978–88)
