Chevrolet Malibu (V300). 2011 to date (prod. n/a). 4-door sedan. F/F, 1598, 1998, 2384, 2499 cm³ petrol, 1956 cm³ diesel (I4 DOHC), 2997 cm³ (V6 DOHC). Replacement for disappointing Daewoo Tosca, as GM tried to bring its mid-size sedans on to a single platform, this time the Epsilon II shared with the Opel Insignia A. New Ecotec engine, with VVT. Wider stance than predecessor, with cues inside and out from Chevrolet Camaro (2010–15). More refined with a comfortable ride; well equipped, with seven-inch display for navigation and entertainment, and USB port. Chinese launch in late 2011; débuted in US in 2012 as 2013 model; turbo 1·6 (135 kW) for China. Badge-engineered as Holden Malibu for Australia and New Zealand. Facelifted in China in 2016, where it ran alongside its successor.
