2000 Chevrolet Malibu.jpg

Chevrolet Malibu (N-body). 1997–2003 (prod. n/a). 4-door sedan. F/F, 2198, 2392 cm³ (I4 DOHC), 3130 cm³ (V6 OHV). Inoffensive, middle-of-the-road sedan, bringing back the Malibu name after a 14-year hiatus, on a stretched N-body platform (such as the Buick Skylark (1992–8), Oldsmobile Alero and Pontiac Grand Am (1999–2005)). Roomy and good value for money, with comfortable seats and features, but unrefined and noisy.

Manufacturing locations: Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, USA; Wilmington, Delaware, USA; Lansing, Michigan, USA

Marque: Chevrolet | Model: Chevrolet Malibu | Predecessor: Chevrolet Corsica | Successors: Chevrolet Classic (2004–5), Chevrolet Malibu (2004–8)

q.v. Oldsmobile Cutlass (1997–9)
