2017 Holden Equinox.jpg

Chevrolet Equinox. 2018 to date (prod. n/a). 5-door SUV. F/F, F/A, 1490, 1998 cm³ petrol, 1598 cm³ diesel (I4 DOHC). GM downsizes, making Equinox more a rival for the Toyota RAV4 (XA40) and Honda CR-V (RM1). Much more refined, sharing a platform and interior look with Chevrolet Cruze (2016–). Less weight meant a more nimble car, though not as sporty as a Mazda CX-5 (KF), though two-litre turbo particularly potent, with 256 PS. No V6 this time. Forward collision warning and automatic available only on the top model at launch. Exported to Australia and New Zealand as Holden Equinox.
