Chevrolet 2500. 1972–8 (prod. n/a). 4-door sedan, 5-door wagon. F/R, 2507 cm³ (I4 OHV). Not quite an Opel Commodore B, Rekord D-based Chevrolet 2500s were not that plush. However, build quality was very good, and the rugged car proved to be a worthy successor to the Ranger A. Related to Chevrolet 3800 and 4100, but differed in appearance, notably with the two square headlamps. A similar model was built by GM Iran.

Manufacturing location: Port Elizabeth, South Africa; Teheran, Iran

Marque: Chevrolet | Predecessor: Ranger A | Successor: Chevrolet Rekord
