Chery QQme (S16). 2009–12 (prod. 1,826 sold in China to end of 2011). 3-door coupé. F/F, 1297 cm³ (I4 DOHC). Originally shown at Beijing 2008 as the QQ Sport, the Italian-styled (by Enrico Fumia) coupé was christened QQme at launch. Unusual, albeit individual, styling, perhaps too out-there for Chinese tastes with its cheery round theme. Not that cheap, either, for an entry-level coupé, but it was better equipped than other Cherys of this size, with dual airbags, three rear seat belts, ABS, and reversing radar, with more upscale models adding side airbags.
