Chery QQ/Chery QQ3/Chery QQR (S11). 2003 to date (prod. unknown). 5-door sedan. F/F, 812 cm³ (3 cyl. DOHC), 993, 1083 cm³ (4 cyl. DOHC). Daewoo Matiz (M100) clone, the subject of a lawsuit by General Motors, which alleged that even the doors were interchangeable with its earlier model. Popular in China, no doubt riding on Matiz’s success, but less safe. Later renamed QQ3 when Chery launched its QQ6 and other QQ models. QQR was a sporting model based on the regular QQ 0·8. One-litre engine, with manual, semi-automatic and Tiptronic transmissions, introduced 2010.
